Your conservation work is rewarding and challenging, work that is vital to our lives on Earth. Inspiring people to take action in support of your cause is equally vital. This is where I can help.
My unique perspective and experience will help you create work that captures people’s hearts and minds. For the last six years I was a creative manager with The Nature Conservancy. I also bring experience from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (policy and training), The National Park Service (cartography) and the Peace Corps (environmental education). With this deep and wide environmental background I can help shape content and produce your projects in a sustainable way, a way that reduces your impact on the resources you are working to protect and lowers your costs.
Living on Vashon Island, just off Seattle, I am working to restore a wetland area and forest area here. I understand the hard work of restoration and stewardship. A deep connection to the land fuels all aspects of my life.
My educational background ranges from a BS in natural resources management from Humboldt State University to a MA in Organizational Systems, with several years in fine art and design at the School of Visual Concepts.
I have been blessed with wonderful clients and here is what they say:

Not only is she efficient and organized, she is FUN and makes working on a document together a smooth and enjoyable process. Claire understands conservation and compiles images and layouts that clearly convey our mission. We love Claire’s work.
